Party Declared Success by Panel of Distinguished Guests
Hi, Team ! .. Look it's a brief review of that party we had last Saturday. With pictures. And with scratch n' smell ( scratch n smell is currently only available to subscribers from The Netherlands. Sorry. Damn technology.)
Some of you may have been re-directed here by some polling genie (please complete the poll. Your feedback could provide fresh water and an iPod to a child in Ecuador for a month. Others, who should know better, may have this Blog saved as a favourite or bookmark. None of that really matters though does it ? Does it ? No, you're right it doesnt. What matters is the party and the array of kindred spirits, beautiful people and spinach and riccotta triangles that made it the night it was. Yeah. Fully. Brief Review Follows.
" Earlier this week, a panel of Distinguished Guests, including a butcher, a 50's actress, a cult leader, an eco-terrorist, a pussycat and a pirate ( with a pimp as moderator ) all selected Option A - " Yes, the party was a success. It understands the needs of today's yoof and I would vote for it in future elections. (For sure I would vote for it if the polling booth also had a BBQ)"
One panel member, while moving onto his third beer of early Sunday afternoon, noted " that party - if it was a party dressed up as a party that wanted to be great party when it grew up - then it was a really good costume." Yes, indeed with that sort of barely coherent praise we can tentatively conclude it was all good ... but, hey, a picture is worth a thousand words, which is kinda hard to believe because houses are worth so much more nowadays and DVD's are soo much cheaper but good ol' pictures - still worth 1000 words only - anyhow, here's a picture. There was a lot of quality banter on the night.
About shoes. "If the Devil wore shoes, he'd wear shoes like that."
About Tiaras. "This Tiara is Hell !"
About princesses. "There is a surfeit of princesses."
About genital piercings. " X@XX @@ !! "
About that classic 80's movie GHOSTBUSTERS, "Don't let the streams cross. For Christ's sake don't let the streams cross !!" This one really only makes sense if you were in the bathroom at the time.
There was a lot of quality costume on the night. Too many favourites to mention. But special mention goes to the dominatrix ( Go Shaz Go ! ) who drove in costume from the Central Coast. I'm assuming Dominatrixes do not pay tolls.
There was a lot of quality quality on the night, y'know - and the pictures, the pictures and one or two of the words above, say it all. We should do it all agin some time .. now, i'm of to review the party through interpretative dance and foul-mouthed shadow puppets. I'll get back to you on that one.
