Solitaire or Fetishes

Decisions, decisions .. TRHE conjured up these two great ideas for Blog posts.

"Fetishes ! Fetishes !" i hear you cry, " Post on fetishes!" .. actually, i think i might do a post on Solitaire first ..

See, you still kept reading and i'll post on fetishes later. I should be Rupert Murdoch or a Fairfax. What shrewd media savvy. No wonder I have a readership that numbers near half a dozen ...

Pretty much if you google "Solitaire" you get about 4 million hits and the first bout 3,900,000 are on the game, Solitaire, which i think was something like ,hang on, it is "Patience" isn't it ? Jacks up and all that or is that Battleships ?

Anyhow, the other hits are about the DJ responsible for two of the greatest tunes ever invented as certified by Elly and i. "I like Love" and "I'm thinking about you". Early readers of the blog will recall i installed "I like love" as song of the Summer a couple of Summer's ago under the guise of channel 7's new Summer theme song. Check the archives

  • "Brand Spankin' New Summer Ditty - Going all the way back to Jan 04"

  • many were the unbelievers but since then it's stayed in the Glebe Top 10 for a record heaps of weeks even in the face of stiff competition from Psytrance gear and that remix of "Owner of a Lonely Heart.".

The DJ behind Solitaire or should that be the DJ, Solitaire, is a guy. We always thought it was a chick cos, y'know, the singer in the tunes is a chick and, well, the singer is a chick. His real name is Lewis Dene, which explains why he goes by the name, Solitaire. "Yo wazzup DJ Lewis !"

The street word is he's also done a remix of The Choirboys' 'Run To Paradise." What versatility !

It's no secret that the secret to Solitaire is that he makes you feel good. You can't help but feel the happy during and after listening to one of his tunes. And you're that much more likely to have a smile on your face at the same time. 10 out of 10 dentists agree.

People should spin more happy house. Also, Rock is dead or at least on life support waiting for the euthanasia laws to be changed { with thanks and big ups, Elly !).

Next week, we talk to Solitaire about his fetishes.
